Just want to pass on my thanks to all those people who have purchased our honey from the cupboard on the lane. We don’t often get to meet but we are very grateful for your custom. Thank you to all those people who return the honey jars it does help to keep my costs down.
As the spring harvest approaches hopefully in May if the weather is kind I only have probably enough jars to stock the cupboard for April. So if you want to stock up before our first harvest to ensure you have enough to tide you over please buy in the next week or so. I know I ran out for a few weeks last year in between and some of you were disappointed. Hence my post.
Our hives have done well through the winter and we are working hard to prepare for a spring harvest.

We are extracting again. The honey is looking particularly golden this time around. There are a lot of wasps around, seems very early this year, and they can rob the weaker hives. We have managed to get this far into the summer without any swarming so very happy about that. We have another good harvest and the bees are loving the warm weather. Many thanks to all our customers for buying from us here on Blackmires Lane.

The bees are still bringing in spring nectar and feeding off the rock roses, be sure to plant a few bee friendly plants in your garden this spring. We have been extracting our spring honey and have it for sale on Blackmires Lane, we replenish the box every day so you won’t come here disappointed!🐝🐝

My favorite day of the year! 🐝💛
A special chance to celebrate the sweet honey bee and recognize just how important they are to our world.

Tomorrow is a full day for me! I’ll be at Juniper Ridge from 8:00–11:00 AM chatting all about bees with the Grade 7 students. Then, I’m off to CBC to appear on The Signal with Adam Walsh! We’ll be live from 12:00–1:00 PM talking about all things honey bees.

Help raise awareness by wearing something bee-related tomorrow—I know I will! 🐝✨

We (me and my bees🤪) have been sooo busy. We extracted honey on Friday, and have allowed it to settle and now we are very proud to offer it for sale from tomorrow. We will be extracting again next weekend, the weather has been amazing for the bee population. There is plenty of danger of swarming but we have made a lot of provision for this and are breeding some queens as an insurance. Please come down to Blackmires Lane and enjoy our honey with us.🐝. We have three different size jars available 454g- £7.75, 340g - £6.50, 140g - £6.00 🐝🍯 🐝

This weather is being very much enjoyed by our bees. They are very active and seem to be thriving. Hopefully we should be able to carry out our spring extraction in mid May.

SOLD OUT🍯 We have had an exceptional year in sales this year and would like to thank everyone for their purchases. We shall hopefully be extracting a spring harvest. Watch this space as I will let people know via Instagram and Facebook. Once again thanks again for your valued support.🐝🐝
