One of last year’s ewe lambs in some rare evening sun, they have been growing on really well over the winter and now on some lush grass. Excited to see how good a mother they will be!!!
However need to buy a new ram in this year so will be on the look out for a ram lamb.

Reflecting on 2026 chaotic lambing. Lots of large ones that needed intervention, a rejection, and we lost one. Always cuts at heart strings and somehow we have to learn from our mistakes, misjudgement or just bad timing. The bonus comes when they can all go out on thick green pasture which is how today has ended.

Whittlewood Juniper has got our lambing off to a great start, she had triplets last year so this is a breeze for her this year with twins.

Whittlewood Juniper has got us off to a great start, one ewe lamb and one ram lamb. Second one came out backwards with a little fluid in the lungs. Both were given colostrum from mum through a tube into their stomach, this got them off to a great start.
