🐑 Home produced lamb, reared right here at Mead’s

Grass-fed all year round, with our sheep grazing the wildflower meadows and conservation areas — helping us to look after the land while, we look after them 🫶

There’s the escaping, the lambing, the chasing and plenty of pain-in-the-arse sheep moments along the way 😂… but it’s all part of farming.

But when it ends up on the family table, providing good, wholesome food that we’re proud to feed our own family, it’s always worth it 🧡

What a summer it’s been! 🤪💛

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped us put on all of our events this summer. From the people behind the scenes, to the bands, DJs, food producers, staff, family and, of course, everyone who came along and supported us 🫶

We’ve had some amazing days and evenings here on the farm, and there’s been nothing better than seeing so many families, friends and our local community enjoying themselves and making memories with us. 🚜🎶

It hasn’t been an easy year on the farm. From the wettest winter on record, to the driest summers we can remember, farming has certainly kept us on our toes.

But, as always, we look forward with hope. 🌱

Hope for better weather, better crops and better times ahead.

Thank you for your continued support of our farm, our family and everything we’re trying to build here.

Harvest is at an end! The grain store is (half) full and after a challenging year for the crops and the farm, we think that deserves a celebration! 🚜🍻

It hasn’t always been an easy season, and the farm might be dry... but thankfully the bar won’t be!🍺😉

Join us at the Farmhouse Kitchen for an afternoon of great music with DJ Rhondevoux, good food, cold drinks and good company. Bring a blanket, grab your friends and settle in for an afternoon on the farm.

No wellies needed, just good vibes and a chance to raise a b**r to the end of Harvest 2026! 🌾🕺💃🍻

We are now ready to receive your picked, ripe apples/pears to start pressing as from Monday 17th. Check for nice dark brown pips. Anything not quite ready give it a few more days.
Bring in nice clean boxes (not bags) with a note of your contact details in each box. Apples are all a bit topsy turvy this year so it's going to be an interesting season 🍎🍐🍏

The tractor cab might have air con, but the rest of us aren’t quite so lucky!

So, once the work is done, there’s not much better than a cold local l***r from one of our brilliant local breweries. 🍺

Because sometimes the best bit of farming is the debrief at the end of the day knowing you’ve done your best 💛
