The Box Steam Story
Box Steam Brewery began over 100 years ago as a small brewery next to the beautifully engineered Box Tunnel. In 2004 the Roberts family, in search of something different for their own pubs, decided to revive the brewery and set about creating traditional and innovative beers using only the finest ingredients. The team use very old techniques, such as steaming the hops, for more gentle and environmentally friendly extraction of flavour and combine this age-old knowledge with our creative approach to new and exciting beers, to bring you our hand-crafted, utterly drinkable range of beers.
Our Box family-based in Holt is small and approachable but we love to hear from our extended Box family of beer fans based all over UK. Send us your pics, messages and and general beer-related nonsense on Facebook or Instagram and let us share the Box Steam love :-)
