On 6 September, we’re serving one of our Ukrainian favourites — Holubtsi (stuffed cabbage rolls), prepared with love and served as part of our Sunday Lunch.

And there’s an extra reason to visit us this Sunday — Sweet Bramble is celebrating its first anniversary! 🎂

To celebrate, we’ll be treating our guests to a slice of our special Honey Cake with Blackberry and inviting you to take part in our anniversary giveaway, with Sweet Bramble vouchers to be won.

On 6 September, we’re celebrating 🎉one year of Sweet Bramble — our little family-run café in the heart of Trowbridge.

Over the past year, we’ve filled our kitchen with homemade breakfasts, brunches, lunches, Ukrainian and British favourites, fresh crepes, and plenty of handmade desserts.

And behind it all is our founder and Ukrainian MasterChef finalist, Iryna Malenko, bringing her recipes, ideas and a little piece of home to Trowbridge.

The dish that tells a story with every bite 🥟

In Ukraine, varenyky have been part of family tables for generations. They bring people together for everyday meals, celebrations and holidays, with recipes lovingly passed down from one generation to the next.

Our menu features two much-loved Ukrainian classics:

🥟 Varenyky — delicate half-moon dumplings filled with potato, served with melted butter and your choice of a rich mushroom topping or savoury meat topping.

🥟 Pelmeni — smaller dumplings filled with seasoned pork and beef, a comforting favourite enjoyed across Ukraine.

Every dumpling is handmade in our kitchen using traditional recipes and quality ingredients, just as they have been prepared in Ukrainian homes for generations.

Whether you’re discovering Ukrainian cuisine for the first time or looking for a taste of home, we’d love to welcome you.

From now on, our Ukrainian varenyky and pelmeni are available every day at Sweet Bramble.
