We have an exciting part-time opportunity to join our friendly, small team here on the farm!
If you love working outdoors and have a passion for animals, this could be the perfect role for you. You’ll be working closely with our animals and helping us create a truly special experience for our visitors.
✨ What you’ll be doing:

Feeding and caring for a variety of farm animals
Mucking out and maintaining clean enclosures
Collecting eggs
Supporting the day-to-day running of the farm
**Please be aware it's a physically demanding job mainly behind the scenes!

Someone active, hands-on, and reliable
Confident and responsible around animals
Knowledge or interest in good animal husbandry
Ability to use initiative and work independently at times
A positive, can-do attitude and team spirit

Ducklings available:

Indian runner ducklings just over 3 weeks old, like the ones in the photo taken today. Off heat, just about to start feathering up and can go outside under supervision.

Indian runners and khaki Campbells hatched 25th April
and
Cherry valley hatched 28th April.

Hatching again around 9th/10th may to include runners, Campbells, Appleyards, harlequins and Cherry Valley.

Have you got your ducks in a row?

More Indian Runners hatching today and ready to go from Tuesday,14th, once we know what s*x they are.

Really happy the ducks have great fertility.....

1st Swedish 100%
2nd Campbells 98%
3rd Runners 97%
4th Welsh Harlequin 95%
5th Terras Duck 93%
6th and always an incredibly slow start for the Drakes Appleyard 76%

The Solver Appleyards do come up in fertility it's just the Drakes are a little lazy/laid back until the weather warms up!
