Truro City Council’s popular Bandstand Concert series will return to Victoria Gardens next month, starting on Sunday 3rd May 2026!

This jam-packed summer programme will feature performances from a diverse range of local talent, including male voice choirs, saxophone quartets, and traditional silver bands - offering something for audiences of all ages 🎶

Egg-citing news 📢 Truro City Council's two fun Easter Trails begin today, Friday 3rd April and will run daily until Sunday 19th April! 🙌

Follow clues around Victoria Gardens and Boscawen Park, hunt for hidden letters and uncover a special Easter phrase at each location along the way. It’s free, family-friendly and perfect for an Easter adventure 🔍

Plus, the brilliant Jules the Ventriloquist will be back in Victoria Gardens on Saturday 4th, 11th & 18th April, bringing plenty of laughs for the little ones 🐒

🪄 looking for magic hands! 🪄 (we are hiring!)
firstly, hello! happy new year to you all! we’ve been quiet… and we’ve missed you!
but guess what, the wheels have already started turning in prep for our reopening this spring for season 6.0. ✨

this year, we are looking to hire a manager for the season. a special sort of person with some magic to them ✨ you’ll be over the age of 21, experienced to supervisor or manager level in hospitality, make coffee to a high standard, and be comfortable running the show and troubleshooting on a day to day basis at pollen - from leading staff, baking, making rotas, keeping up high cleanliness standards, recipe testing, ordering, working busy shifts, quiet shifts and some solo shifts.

the gardens will become your home this summer, your safe space for 30-35hrs per week on a seasonal basis. (bliss).

that’s a wrap on season 5.0! ✨ 🍰
well, what a time we’ve had, and how quickly it’s flown?!
it’s a joy to serve you all and to be able to come to work and love what we do every day.

I’ve felt this year like I’ve really got to know some of you properly, and I’ve so enjoyed doing that and providing a space for all sorts of magic and life happenings to occur over something as simple as coffee and cake.
I’m sad that we can’t provide this space for the community all year around, and I hope one day we will build to be able to do that. I’m proud to say that we are SO much more than a coffee shop, and I see examples of how we are needed every single day. ♥️

Wishing you all a gentle winter and see you all in 2026 !
