🥔🚜 Another busy week of harvest done!

The tractors have been rolling, the spuds have been coming in… and The Potato Shed is stocked up ready for the weekend! ❤️

🥔 Our own Marfona potatoes, fresh from the fields
🍓 Lovely raspberry jam from Beckoffi, back in stock
🥚 Free-range eggs
🧁 A few sweet treats
🍯 Honey from the happy bees right here at Tregonan 🐝

Proper local produce with very few miles from field to fork — our spuds probably clock up more miles on the tractor than they do getting to you! 🚜

🚜😂 A bit of YFC fun on the farm!

Last night we were pleased to welcome Probus YFC for their President’s Surprise evening… and apparently the surprise was finding out who could actually drive! 😂

The challenge — vehicle manoeuvres!

From tiny bikes to slightly bigger farm machinery, there was plenty of questionable steering, even more questionable advice from the sidelines and some healthy competition!

Lots of laughs were had and, thankfully, most things finished the evening the right way up! 😂

A big thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a cracking evening — great fun and plenty of laughter was had by all! 🚜

From our little farmers here in Cornwall! ❤️🚜

It’s certainly been a challenging year for potato growers, but Harvest 2026 is underway and we’re cracking on!

From our Cornish fields, our potatoes are heading out to shops, cafés and businesses across Cornwall and beyond.

A lot of hard work goes into the humble spud… so today we’re giving it the appreciation it deserves!

Grown in Cornwall. Grown with pride. ❤️

🥔🚜 HARVEST 2026 IS IN FULL SWING! 🚜🥔

It’s all go on the farm as the spuds come rolling in!

Once lifted, they head over the grader where we pick out the stones and rejects, before the different sized webs sort the potatoes by size.

Then it’s into the boxes and off to the factory. 🥔➡️📦

Plenty of dust, plenty of spuds and plenty more still to come!

Harvest 2026… let’s be having you! 🚜🥔

The impossible has happened… even the sun has stopped Reuben playing with his spuds! 😂🥔

The cows have clocked off, Reuben’s finally put the potatoes down, and apparently it only took an eclipse to bring farming to a standstill! 🐄🌑😂

If you’re heading out to watch tonight, please protect your eyes 👀 — never look directly at the Sun without proper certified eclipse glasses, and don’t use cameras, binoculars or telescopes without the correct solar filter.

Enjoy the show, stay safe… and don’t worry Reuben, the spuds will still be there tomorrow! 🥔🌑
