It’s hard to believe that just 7 days ago we were serving breakfast at Royal Cornwall Show.
Our staff and family go above and beyond before and after show week to ensure that our customers continue to receive their orders whilst also preparing the volumes of fresh product needed for the show.
The decision to cancel the show was taken to protect traders, visitors and animals but the knock-on effect has meant we have needed to think outside the box to try and limit our losses.
There are many people to thank for their help and support this week-
Firstly, to our amazing staff and family for all their hard work over the last few weeks.
A huge shoutout to James Dundon and BBC Cornwall for getting the messages out on air so quickly.
A big thank you to Sarah Helston Farmers Market who following a frantic message from me had tables ready, a place for the van to park and people to help unload and set up and to edenprojectcornwall who allowed us to trade on Sunday.
Finally, to those people, some of whom had already arrived at the showground, heard me on BBC Cornwall and headed to either Truro or Helston your support was truly humbling. Thank you so much.
What’s next for us ?
