The atmosphere is incredible already, the streets are buzzing, and the support for local businesses and the community has been absolutely phenomenal.

Wow… what a day. ❤️ Thank you Illogan Food & Craft Market & Sam from Cornish Cakey Tea!

We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came out today to support local independent businesses. We were absolutely blown away by the turnout, especially hearing from so many people who were visiting the market for the very first time.

One lovely couple on holiday from Leicester told us they had seen the post about Royal Cornwall and specifically wanted to come and support small businesses — and honestly, that meant so much to hear.

The support, kindness, encouragement and every single purchase genuinely make a difference to small businesses like ours. Days like today remind us why we do what we do. 🍫

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you. Cornwall really does have an incredible community. ❤️

We know how much hard work, preparation, and investment goes into getting ready for an event of this size, so we're incredibly sorry to hear about today's cancellation.

If you have stock ready to sell and are looking for an opportunity to trade this weekend, we'd love to help if we can.

We have a few spaces available tomorrow (**7th June**) at the **Illogan Food & Craft Market**. We can accommodate a couple of traders indoors, and we have plenty of room outside for gazebos.

If you'd like to join us, please get in touch as soon as possible. We'd be delighted to support fellow traders and help you turn a difficult situation into a positive trading day.

After surviving 48 hours of what can only be described as an extreme sport for chocolatiers, we can officially confirm we’ve completed 200 boxes of our hand-painted, hand-boxed and hand-labelled chocolates. 🍫

That’s 800 milk chocolate & sea salt caramel chocolates now on their way for delivery. ✨

A huge amount of work, care and attention has gone into every single one and we honestly couldn’t be prouder.

Current status:
☕ Sleep deprived
🍫 73% chocolate
🫠 Slightly delirious
😂 Still somehow smiling

We may not be capable of full sentences for the next 24 hours… but it’s been worth every second.

Well, what an awesome day Illogan Food & Craft Market!

We were so honoured to support this fantastic community event and be part of such a wonderful day. It was amazing to see so many people come together, support local businesses, and enjoy everything the market had to offer.

A huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers, stallholders, and everyone who stopped by to say hello and support us. Events like these really showcase the incredible community spirit we have here in Cornwall.

More importantly we want to thank our four legged friends for being so awesome!

EDIT -a staggering £390.35 was raised for Help4hounds 🙌

🐾 Well, it’s revving up to be the event of the season! 🐾

Tomorrow we’ll be at the Illogan Food & Craft Market for the Community Dog Show, and we can’t wait!

There will be an amazing array of stalls both inside and outside, showcasing some fantastic local businesses, artisan products, delicious food, gifts, crafts, and of course plenty of four-legged friends enjoying the day. 🐶

Come along, support local independent businesses, browse the wonderful stalls, and enjoy a great community event. Don’t forget to stop by and say hello — we’ll have our handcrafted Cornish chocolates, chocolate sauces, dog-safe chocolate treats, and plenty of smiles waiting for you! 🍫🐾
