With winter behind us and the sun out, I couldn't be happier to introduce you all to the first of our spring calves. Meet Daisy. Her ear tags may seem a little large, but she'll grow into them! Just praying the next 35 cows do as well as this one! Well done Zinnia.

Looks like we will be kissing good bye to the most beautiful weather that we have had in the last couple of weeks. A final chance to grab in forage to get us through the winter. Happy to say our sheds are now filled to the brim with food. Just praying that the winter dose not become 6 months of rain like we had last year. ☔️🙏🤞

Today is Back British Farming Day. We are so proud of the animals that we produce and the land that we farm. Not one thing has been 'easy' but I wouldn't have it any other way! Farming is and has always been a challenge, but with each challenge is an opportunity to learn, improve and set new found resillance 💪. I am always grateful for the support from the community around us. Thank you ☺️

It's a bitter sweet moment when one of your most treasured heifers gives birth to a beautiful strong calf. The heifer 'Whimple' we call her is an IR "Inconclusive Reactor" which means we she may or may not have tb. We will find out in August at which time her baby will not be ready to be without her mum. Tb really takes the joy out of farming.💔
