💨 Fanners at Work (Cooling): When the hive overheats, a dedicated team of bees stands at the entrance, faces inward, and beats their wings at lightning speed. This coordinated fanning forces hot air out and draws fresh, cool air in.
💧 Evaporative Cooling (AC Mode): On scorching summer days, 'water-carrier' bees bring droplets into the hive and spread a thin film of water over the wax combs. Other bees then fan the wet combs, cooling the hive through pure evaporation!
