Employee of the month!

On a wee forgotten corner of the croft this little ram pump works 24/7. No petrol or complex electronics, just two valves and a spring. Invented 250 years ago this little guy is the most important piece of kit we have and moves 100 litres of spring water an hour up to a big holding tank.

Just a cow, doing his thing on some nice fresh grass. When we took on the croft the land hadn't been worked in a generation & with last year's drought Steve was very worried he'd do more harm than good. Seems like he didn't need to worry.

Finally warm enough to work the bees again. Did you know there are over 10,000 in each hive?

Steph (I watched from very far away) managed to split the colony into two, meaning both out hives are now filling up with bees.
