Our fields have not seen chemical sprays or artificial fertilisers for 28 years and counting. Instead, we rely on clovers, herbal leys, compost and careful grassland management to keep the soil healthy. It takes more planning and a bit more patience, but it is the way we have chosen to farm.

Healthy soil grows nutritious grass. That grass feeds our cows, and in turn they produce the milk we bottle every day. For us, organic farming has never been about finding shortcuts. It has always been about looking after the land that looks after us.
