Happy Father’s Day to the dads, grandads, mentors and old-school grafters who taught us that doing things properly still matters.
As a second-generation, family-run business, Father’s Day always feels like a good moment to look back at where Leonards began — a small unit in Gosport, hands-on production, hard work, and a belief that if you’re going to supply the trade, you do it properly.
A lot has changed since then. The factories, the systems, the audits, the ranges, the equipment.
But the important bits haven’t.
Care about the detail.
Look after your customers.
Make products that work.
Build relationships that last.
It’s the same thinking we see every day in butchers’ shops too — skills passed down, standards protected, and plenty of “that’s not how I showed you” along the way.
So today we’re raising a toast to the dads and father figures behind the counters, in the prep rooms, on the vans, in the factories, and around the family table.
Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Leonards.
