This morning, I popped into and had a little skulk around their wine section despite not actually needing to buy anything! There were some great offers on so I thought I'd share my favs...

Tucked away in the upper Crouch Valley, you'll find , the last stop on our Crouch Valley Wine Tour.

This family-run estate spans 400 acres, with 100 under vine and everything handled in-house from vine to bottle with proper attention to detail at every step.

The lineup? Pinot Blanc, Bacchus, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay & Pinot Noir… all seriously worth a try 👀🍷 Especially when you're able to try the 2021, 2023 & 2024 Bacchus side by side to compare, this makes this little wine nerd very happy!

The tasting room is also super cute too - perfect for date night!

Our second stop was to @riverviewcrouchvalley 🍇

✨ 11 acres of dreamy south-facing vines overlooking the River Crouch and a proper passion project turned reality. Founded in 2018 by husband-and-wife duo Umut & Katie, it all started as a kitchen table idea with Katie’s farming family… and now it’s one to watch in Essex wine 👀🍷

Whilst walking the vines, we were lucky enough to sample their newest edition of the Rosé wine which is yet to be bottled! This was like summer in a glass in the sunshine 🌞

To finish, we cracked open a bottle of their stunning Pinot Noir, which, if you can get your hands on a bottle, is unreal!

First stop on our Crouch Valley Wine Tour was the iconic 🍇 One of the UK’s oldest wineries, and still absolutely smashing it.

I’ve been before, but this was my first proper sit-down tasting, and it did not disappoint 🙌 We worked through a brilliant lineup, with a VERY fun moment comparing the 2024 vs 2025 Single Estate Pinot Précoce Rosé side by side (the 2025 isn’t even out yet 👀).

The new Old Vine range is also a bit lush; that Limited Edition Bacchus Fumé? Bloody dreamy.

And to top it all off… the sun actually showed up ☀️🍷

As part of our Crouch Valley Wine Tour, we spent two nights staying at in Southminster.

It's the perfect rural retreat for groups looking to visit the wine region; there are three new bungalows that can be booked as a huge group or as individual dwellings. There's even a hot tub!

For our first evening, bought a bottle of and it's been some time since I've had a glass; it's still as delicious as I remembered. I cracked open a bottle of the rose that I swear by, and cooked us all a very posh chicken and mushroom risotto!

ad Seriously, I'm still not over how good The Bubbly Show 2026 by was 🥂

✨ I spent an afternoon in pure sparkling heaven at the stunning 10–11 Carlton House Terrace, surrounded by over 40 incredible Champagne houses and English sparkling producers. From icons like Taittinger, Pommery and Deutz to some of our best homegrown stars like , and … it was honestly a dream lineup and such a fun day drinking bubbles and soaking it all in 🍾💫

It was lovely meeting all of the English Producers (yes, I only drank English whilst I was there!!) and hearing how positive the feedback was from people that hadn't dabble in out homegrown wonders before! Plus, it was a bonus to hear the incredible talk too.

To top it all of, ya gal got to sabrage a bottle of Searcy's very own English Sparkling with the help of .uk, which you'll have to wait to see as it's a fun one!

Can't wait for 2026's show already!

ℹ️ A historic Rioja Alavesa producer founded in 1894, working with high-altitude vineyards around Laguardia. Known for crafting elegant, terroir-driven wines that blend tradition with a more modern, fresher style, often centred on Tempranillo with refined oak use.
🍒 Red and black fruits, plum and cherry with notes of spice, cedar and subtle vanilla, balanced by fresh acidity and polished tannins.
🍽️ A dream with lamb, Iberico pork or hard cheeses like Manchego – classic Rioja vibes with a modern edge.

Two stunning expressions from Bodegas Bhilar that really show the soul of Rioja Alavesa 🍇✨

🍇 Phincas ‘Thousand Mils’ Blanco Rioja Alavesa
ℹ️ A textured, skin-contact white from high-altitude Rioja Alavesa, blending old-vine Viura with native varieties, fermented with native yeasts and aged in concrete. Complex yet vibrant, showing baked apple, quince, citrus peel, chamomile, almond and a gentle grip from the skins, balanced by fresh acidity and a savoury, mineral finish.
🍽️ Brilliant with roast chicken, grilled monkfish, saffron dishes or nutty cheeses like Comté.

🍇 Phincas Tinto Rioja Alavesa
ℹ️ A beautifully pure, village-style Rioja from high-altitude vineyards, blending Tempranillo with Garnacha and Graciano, fermented with native yeasts and aged gently in oak. Fresh yet structured, with juicy red cherry, raspberry, plum, wild herbs, violet and a touch of spice, all lifted by bright acidity and fine, chalky tannins. Elegant, energetic and seriously drinkable.
🍽️ Perfect with chargrilled lamb, Iberico pork, roasted vegetables or a classic tapas spread.

ℹ️ A vibrant, terroir-led Rioja Alavesa red made from 100% Graciano, organically and biodynamically farmed at 600m altitude and fermented in concrete for freshness and finesse. Fragrant and energetic, with redcurrant, pomegranate, black cherry, wild herbs, eucalyptus, violet, crushed stone and a touch of cocoa, all wrapped in bright acidity and a slightly wild edge. 
🍽️ Lovely with lamb cutlets, rosemary-led barbecue dishes or served lightly chilled on a warm evening.
