T G Sargeant & Sons We are a family business specialising in locally sourced meat all direct from our own abattoir.

Established in 1890, we are a local family business and take pride in our products and services. With 2 butcher’s shops and our own abattoir, we use locally sourced meat to sell and use in homemade products. The newly built bakery and kitchens provides the perfect space to cook delicious pastries, pies, ready meals, and cakes. Sausages and burgers are made in our new approved boning rooms with a l

arge choice of flavours to suit all requirements. For those that have their own stock, we offer a fully traceable slaughter and butchery service. Whether it’s 1 animal, or a trailer load, we strive to meet your requirements. Our focus on animal welfare and friendly service ensures peace of mind from farm to fork.

We are looking to recruit an hardworking individual to work in our busy lairage.

The successful candidate will need a good knowledge of livestock handling and COC certification for cattle and sheep.

Training will be given if necessary
