WELL. BLOODY HELL, WAKEY.

We couldn’t have imagined quite how many of you were thirsty for a weekend filled with delightful independent beer… but GOOD GRIEF did you show up for it.

We’ve had an absolutely MEGA weekend. The taproom has been rammed with lovely people, flippin’ loads of brilliant beer has been drunk, delicious food has been smashed, there’s been music, feasting, frivolity, and just a whole load of general loveliness.

Seeing this many people turn up for independent beer, independent breweries and our little corner of the world has been pretty blinkin' special. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to everyone who’s come down so far.

BUT WE’RE NOT DONE YET.

It’s the final day of ALL MY FRIENDS today, and there’s still plenty of cracking beer pouring on draught and hanging out in the fridges from all our amazing brewery mates.

Proper Good Pizza will be firing up the ovens, the lovely folk from LonGBoaT Wakefield will be down, we’ll be pouring from 12–7pm, and we’re rounding the whole thing off with some proper Bank Holiday Monday relaxing maxxing/ insert whatever other xxing you need today here.

Come grab a pint. Eat a pizza. Work your way through a few of the beers you haven’t managed yet, and help us see out our very first All My Friends in frankly delightful fashion. ✌️💚🩷

RIGHT YOU LOVELY LOT…here it finally is. THE BIG OL’ BEER LIST. 🍻

50+ beers. 19 breweries. A whole load-a delicious!

We’ll be rotating the keg + cask goodness across our bars all weekend, ramping it up to 20 lines at peak times, plus a frankly delightful pile of small pack in the fridges for drinking in or taking home with ya.

Not everything will be pouring at once, so keep your eyes on the boards, see what’s coming next and try not to snooze on something you’ve got your heart set on 👀

Summer holidays = a little helper. (Is helper the right word if he gets it all over the floor, then disappears after 30 seconds to reward himself with a can of pop? 🤔)

We’re a proper lil’ family business here, which means F comes to work with us every day through the summer holidays. He spends most of his day in the office drawing, honing his clay monster-making skills, building increasingly elaborate Minecraft worlds and generally keeping himself busy running the whole show. 

But sometimes… just sometimes… he decides he fancies helping Dad on the brewfloor.

Today’s lesson: digging out the mash tun. A few very supervised shovelfuls of spent grain later and he’d decided he’d contributed quite enough to the family business, thanks very much and promptly disappeared to claim said can of pop from the fridge (Pineapple Steep Soda, for those that are interested...)

Enthusiasm lasted approximately 30 seconds after this photo was taken, but it’s the thought that counts, innit? 😂

Don’t worry, we’re not putting him on the rota just yet…

Our first Wakefield Festival of Modern Beer! 40+ brilliant beers from breweries we love across keg, cask & cans, with a constantly rotating bar.

As if thirty-odd brilliant beers weren't enough to get yer gobs around over All My Friends weekend, we've assembled a frankly DELIGHTFUL little food line-up to keep those bellies jolly happy too.

🍕 First up, our pals at Proper Good Pizza are moving in from Friday – Monday, slinging their blimmin' delicious Neapolitan-style pizzas made with 24-hour proved dough and cooked fresh right here. Beer + pizza 🤝A beautiful, beautiful thing.

🥧 Then on Saturday & Sunday, we're VERY excited to have Josh from Finer Pleasures (a Pie Shop, Of Sorts) and purveyor of some frankly ridiculous pastry-based delights. Handmade pies, pithiviers, pâté en croûte and whatever other bonkers things Josh decides ought to be wrapped in pastry. He's also a former MasterChef: The Professionals semi-finalist, so y'know... he knows his onions. (And his pies)

🍦 AND because we've clearly decided you should spend the entire weekend eating, the beauts from Fennell’s will be joining us Saturday & Sunday with their adorable little ice cream cart and a whole load of sweet, frozen goodness.

🚨 MORE BREWERIES 🚨

Well then... here's the rest of 'em for yer!

We're absolutely chuffed to be welcoming these breweries to All My Friends Beer Festival this August Bank Holiday.

From fellow newbie breweries , to some of the most respected names in UK beer whose brews we've admired (and happily drunk) for years, this final batch is a lovely mix of some old favourites, exciting newcomers, and breweries we're loving seeing out there at the moment.

The festival is shaping up to be exactly what we hoped it would be – a bit ol' celebration of brilliant independent beer, brewed by lovely people doing wonderful things.

We've still got plenty more to tell you over the coming weeks, including the all important beer list, food vendors, music, festival wristbands and all the other good stuff... but for now, here's a few more names to get your teeth into. 👀🍻
