Slightly busy on the extracting honey front at the moment but I managed catch a few pics of the bees working the rose garden and the mint, plus a naughty dog trying to hitch a lift in my van!!

Busy times in the honey room, bringing in the honey, extracting, bottling and labelling and yet more to harvest when the weather is right.

Also working on some new candles and other ideas, hence a pic of my post Market reminder list!

Well I've been up to my armpits in honey today starting to extract this years amber nectar from the bees and it tastes absolutely fantastic.

I even managed to jar some up on request for a couple of lovely customers, who I only get to see a few times each year. I usually try and get at least 80% extracted before starting on bottling.

Back with Art & Soul Craft Markets tomorrow in Hay. Find me in the Butter Market from 10-4 with all my usual honey, beeswax candles, polishes, leather balms and natural skincare.

Been busy trying to get ahead of the candle making because there is a significant amount of honey extraction waiting for me!! Time to get sticky!!🍯🍯

I've been a bit quiet lately, got struck down with a nasty gastric upset but I'm nearly 100% again now thankfully.

Lots of things happening on the farm over the past few weeks including keeping the animals cool, sheep shearing and farrowing!

A nice day off for me tomorrow though😉, back at market with

Busy morning so far in Hay-on-Wye! Forgot to take pics of my new candles, Phoenix, Eagle, Wolf, Owl and Apples and already sold out of bookstacks🤦‍♀️, also have some lovely new cosmetic gift boxes!

Lovely day at mart today, perfect temperature and lots of chatty customers.

Got home and had to go out and check our two new litters of piglets, very happy free ranging and sunbathing and then had to extract the puppy from my van!! Nosey Callahan 🤣

Back in Hay on Saturday for the monthly Saturday market with Hay Markets and hopefully with some new candles if I can get them made in time 😁
