On Friday 3 July 2026, I became aware of an email that had been circulated by a corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions firm claiming to have advised on the successful sale of Coinadrink Ltd and using our company as a case study to promote its services.
I would like to make it absolutely clear that the information contained within that communication is entirely incorrect.
Coinadrink Ltd remains a proudly independent, family-owned business. We have not been sold, we have never engaged this company, and we have not entered into any discussions regarding the sale of the business.
Our ownership structure remains unchanged, our team remains unchanged, and we continue to invest in the future of the company with the same passion, commitment and long-term vision that have guided us for many years.
Naturally, I was both surprised and disappointed to learn that our name was being used in this way. Following the distribution of the email, I received numerous calls from customers, suppliers and industry contacts seeking clarification. While I was pleased to reassure each caller personally, there is no doubt that the circulation of incorrect information has caused unnecessary confusion.
We understand that another respected business was also named within the same communication, and we are currently seeking legal advice regarding the matter.
If you received the email in question, I would be grateful if you could forward a copy to me directly. This will assist our legal advisers in understanding the extent of its circulation.
