We have had an amazing evening hosted by Abingdon Distillery sampling the inaugural release of their new make EnglishWhiskey. We have worked in partnership with this incredible business for several years supporting each other along our journey with our barrel exchange program. We decided to join their founders program to support their wh***ey making enterprise. So I have returned home with one of the first release bottles as well as the barrel aged b**r they have produced in collaboration with a local Brewery. But how am I celebrating? With a glass of our finest mead aged for two years in a maple syrup barrel used for their rum production, but finished for six months in one of their first release wh***ey barrels. We are very proud to have been able to use one of these incredible barrels for the finishing of our amazing Mead. The result is spectacular and we have given them the first of these bottles in celebration of their milestone achievement in producing one of the finest English wh***eys that is now to hit the UK spirits market. We wish them all the best in their future journey as an incredible producer of English made products.
It has been so great to meet so many of the other founder members of this enterprise this evening ***ey
