Here's a little sneak peak of our Cheesy K***s, prior to going in to the ovens to begin the process!

Traditional Dorset K***s were baked just once. A k**b of dough (usually left over waste), would be placed in the oven overnight by the workers, Just as the ovens were turned off and the consistent lowering of heat would dry out the k**b. Leaving a lightly crispy k**b of dough.
Years ago, they'd dunk them in hot drinks or soup, nowadays they are used with Oils, Cheeses and Butters. Ive heard some people put them in a stew!

We took a look at this great hard to get hold of and decided to make something more of it.

Dorset K***s, which are slightly flavoured offer that little bit of taste, whether its Cheese, or our very new Flavour launching next week, 'Chilli Hot K**b' 🌶 🔥

We want our customers to select which flavour they prefer, and tell us how they enjoy them. Maybe as an Hors d'oeuvre and putting Salmon on it, or Avocado, or just to enjoy with some Cheese!

Keep a look out for them throughout Dorset and beyond!

Dorset Flapjacks is about 25yrs old, we've given it a fresh look and improved the recipes as well as adding new flavours.

You'll notice, we have '& Cake Company' at the end of the business name!

As we now begin the second stage of the business we felt it needed a brand and logo to promote all the 'Yummy & Scrumptious' things we make.

We decided on DoughBoy Treats & the logo is just awesome.

The old bakery we took over is currently having an overhaul and update, taking on a few extra staff as we already have alot of interest in our products, to distribute wholesale wise.

Two mouth watering flavours in a re-sealable bag, with a variety of different combinations to choose.

Great News!!!! Dorset FlapJack & Cake Company are launching a whole range of products.

We have taken over the old Williams Bakery site, which is a great size for us to develop and expand our offering.

So what better way to start, than produce our very own Dorset K***s, right in the heart of Dorset!

We've seen how limited they've become, our bakery experts have perfected them, great vibrant packaging, but best of all is a range of flavours.......

Not just the Traditional style!

Launching this week 'CHEESY K***S', and they taste absolutely amazing. Distinctive packaging, you won't pick up the wrong one.

They will be available at Leonards Gifts, HB Hibbs / Jenkins, Williams Bakery & McAllisters Pantry

The question is, Dorset K**b or Cheesy K**b 🧀🤔
