Job Title: Alpaca Handler
Hours: 8-12 Hour per week, preferably hours spilt over weekend mornings however for right candidate times/dates could be discussed. Flexibility with dates/times suitable as long as discussed in advance
Contract term: 3-month trial basis to begin
Salary: National Minimum Wage
Start Date: ASAP - Must be able to start training by the end of August 2026
Location: Local to Warfield, Bracknell
Job Description: General tasks consist of feeding and checking all alpacas, mucking out shelters, supplying the herds with hay, general wellness checks and reporting any issues/alpaca health concerns to other handler
At certain times of the year, regular handling, and health checks for all our alpacas may be required but this would be carried out alongside our other handler who would provide amply support and training where needed. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic to work with animals with great attention to detail. Ideal candidate would preferably have some prior experience/knowledge of looking after animals
