BACK TO THE FILTER…IS BACK 🚨

Our current blend is a total dream team, bringing together two incredible women-grown lots (duh) that hit all the right notes. We’ve paired the elegant, cherry notes of La Morena's Guatemalan beans with the mellow chocolatey sweetness of Ana Luisa Pellicer’s coffee from Mio in Brazil.

Together, they strike a perfect harmony: La Morena brings the delicate high, and fruity notes, while Ana Luisa grounds the cup with a caramel, syrupy soul. It’s a total delight that is uncomplicated and seriously delicious.

Whether it’s a slow Sunday pour-over or a big batch brew to get you through the Monday madness, this blend is here to make your day better. Grab a bag, get brewing, and get Back To The Filter 💜

Are you a D.I.L.F? As we lead up to Father’s Day, we want to highlight the men who truly get it 🙌

The men who understand that inequality still exists and consistently show up to support women - not just when it’s trendy, but all year round.

This is a celebration of the men in our community who actively support women: the dads, partners, friends, brothers and customers who champion what we do and believe in the mission behind Girls Who Grind Coffee.

So, for Father’s Day, we’re celebrating the good ones.

Part-Time Freelance Contract | Remote (UK) | Girls Who Grind Coffee

We are looking for a commercially-minded, relationship-led Wholesale Growth Manager to help grow our wholesale business across the UK.

We’re now looking for the right person to help us build on that momentum by identifying, developing, and securing new wholesale accounts.

This is a flexible, part-time contract role, ideal for someone who enjoys opening doors, building partnerships, and helping shape a growing premium brand’s wholesale strategy.

The Role
We’re looking for someone proactive, commercially minded, and confident in building new business relationships.

This role is focused on:
* winning new wholesale accounts
* helping refine our wholesale proposition
* supporting the growth of larger-volume B2B partnerships

We want someone who can do more than just sell; we need someone who can strengthen our overall offering and identify the most commercially beneficial opportunities.

Location
* Remote, UK-based
* Flexible working
* Travel required for meetings, tastings and events as needed
* Occasional visits to our roastery in Wiltshire

Time Commitment
* Approx. 15 hours per week
* Flexible schedule

To Apply
Please send the following to [email protected]

* a short introduction about yourself, your relevant sales experience, why the Girls Who Grind mission resonates with you, and examples of the types of accounts or partnerships you’ve successfully built in the past.

If you’re excited by building relationships, creating opportunities, and helping shape the growth of an independent specialty coffee brand, we’d love to hear from you!

Look, we get it - we really do. Making coffee these days can feel like a science experiment. Googling, pausing YouTube videos, worrying about having the “right” (usually expensive) equipment… it can get a bit much.
But honestly, we make coffee with you in mind - forgiving, easy, and seriously moreish.

So we want to hear from you. What's your go-to hack for a great cup at home? Your golden rule? Your totally unscientific but somehow always works method?

Meet Casey… Many of you will already know Casey as our founder, but we asked her a few more questions so you can get to know the person behind Girls Who Grind Coffee a little more 👇

I'm Casey, owner and founder. I started working in coffee in 2006, as a lab assistant in a coffee lab/ roastery in Vermont, USA (Yup, I've been working in coffee for 20 years!) I've never wanted to do anything else.

Why did you start GWGC?
I wanted to build something that brought together my two passions: great coffee and women’s equality. Coffee has this amazing power to connect people, but the industry hasn’t always been inclusive. It’s long been a bit of a boys’ club, from production through to consumption.
Girls Who Grind Coffee exists to challenge that, to rethink sourcing, shift perspectives, and create space for women across the coffee chain. And judging by our community, that mission really resonates.

Favourite thing about working with the GWGC team?
They’re honestly brilliant. Everyone here genuinely cares about the coffee, the mission, and making an impact. That energy is infectious, and it shows in everything we do.

Favourite GWGC coffee and preferred way of drinking it?
It has to be the Girl Crush Blend, it never lets me down. I’ll have it as an oat flat white most days, but it’s just as good as a straight-up espresso.

Any favourite women-owned businesses more people should know about?
So many, especially the ones we work with. Outside of coffee, everyone should check out Buy Women Built. It's a great place to discover loads of amazing women-owned brands.

Meet La Morena - a project born out of the fact that Guatemala's coffee industry has, frankly, been a bit of a boys' club. La Morena exists to change that, giving women farmers across the country greater visibility, independence and a seat at the table they helped build.

La Morena began in 2015 with just 22 women producers contributing to a single 30-bag lot of coffee. Today, the project works with more than 1,600 women farmers across Huehuetenango and Cubulco, creating traceable community lots through the Volcafe Way programme.

The programme focuses on improving quality, sustainability, and long-term economic opportunity for women producers. Farmers receive support in areas including farm management, pest control, financial training, and improving crop yield and coffee quality.

One of the most important aspects of the programme is knowledge-sharing within communities. Producers who successfully implement farming practices can become trainers themselves, hosting workshops and supporting other women farmers in their region.

We're proud to work with Volcafe and La Morena 💓
