Our 15 year crew 💚

All of these staff members have been with us since the farm shop and cafe opened 15 years ago (and some for longer than that!).

We feel so lucky to have such a fabulous, dedicated team around us who have become more like family than colleagues.

What a milestone. 15 years since we opened the doors.

We can’t quite believe that it’s been fifteen years since we welcomed our first customers into the Farm Shop and Café 💚

It all started with a simple idea… to create a place where people could buy and enjoy fresh, local food, much of it grown right here on the farm 🚜

Since then, we’ve welcomed hundreds of thousands of you, worked with countless local producers and built an incredible team who help make Kenyon Hall what it is today.

Being open 7 days a week, we don’t often stop and reflect, but anniversaries like this remind us just how grateful we are. Whether you’ve been visiting since day one or only discovered us recently, thank you for supporting local, independent farming and food.

We’re out picking them fresh every morning and they’re on the shelves by 10am ❤️

There’s no pause button on farming 👨‍🌾☀️🍓

While most of us have been slowing down and enjoying the sunshine this week, our farm team have been working harder than ever - setting their alarms for 7am starts to beat the heat and keep everything on track 💪🌱

There’s soooo much going on behind the scenes right now before produce reaches our farm shop shelves or before you arrive for a day of fruit picking, and we’re so grateful for the hard work and dedication they show every day 🚜

Did you know we’re powered by sunshine? 😎⚡️

With all this glorious sunshine, our solar panels have been working overtime - generating enough electricity to power the entire farm! ☀️🚜

And on particularly sunny weeks like this one, we can produce more energy than we need, with the excess being fed back into the National Grid 🔌

As a family-run farm, we’re always looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact, and our solar panels play a big part in helping us do that 🌍💚

Can you believe that these tiny seedlings will be pumpkins in just 4 months time?!

We’ve planted more than 40 varieties this year of all shapes, sizes and colours 🧡🌈

What we imagine is going through Farmer Tom’s head as he drives around the farm 🚜😂

In reality… the farm tractors are actually VERY busy right now! Here’s what we’re planting:

🌻 Sunflowers ready for our spectacular Sunflower Experience
🌾 Maize for our amazing Maize Maze
🌽 Lots of veg for you to come and pick including sweetcorn, beans, onions and potatoes

But for now - we’ll just share a little tractor… doing very big tractor things 🚜✨
