🥩❤️ OX LIVER IS BACK! ❤️🥩

A proper old-school favourite, and at just £3.99/kg, it’s a seriously good-value way to get plenty of goodness onto your plate! 👀

Ox liver is packed with nutrients, including iron, vitamin B12, vitamin A and protein. It’s particularly well known for being an excellent source of iron, which helps support normal energy levels and the formation of red blood cells💪🏻

And if you’re thinking, “but what do I actually do with liver?”… we’ve got you! 😂

🍽️ Hannah’s easy liver & onions

🥩 Slice your liver into thin pieces
🧅 Fry plenty of sliced onions until soft and golden
🥩 Add the liver and cook briefly on each side until just cooked through
🧈 Add a little butter and a splash of gravy or beef stock
🌿 Season with salt and pepper

Serve with creamy mash, peas and a good dollop of gravy!! Proper comfort food! 😍

💡 Tonight’s inspiration: Mediterranean Baked Cod 🍋🍅

Pop your cod into a baking dish with cherry tomatoes, sliced garlic, red onion, a squeeze of lemon, a handful of olives and some fresh herbs. Drizzle with a little olive oil, season well and bake until the fish is beautifully flaky.

Serve with crusty bread to mop up all those gorgeous juices, or some new potatoes and a fresh salad🌿

They’ve got those beautiful big golden yolks and are absolutely brilliant for baking cake, brownies, pastries… anything that benefits from a lovely rich egg! 🍰🤤

But Hannah’s favourite way to have them?
