With the fluctuating weather conditions lambs can quickly get cold and struggle to warm up again. This little chap, Flash, did just that and didn't respond to a warm feed and a cozy blanket in the shed so I brought him home for a couple of hours with a hot water bottle in front of the fire. Jam, the cat, made him feel welcome by sitting and staring at him and he soon decided that he was warm enough to go back. The sun came out so I left him in his box, on the hot water bottle in the sun for a bit and then gave him his own pen. His mum is still feeling a bit poorly so we decided to artificially feed him to let her recover. He now has a friend to cuddle up to - name requests welcome.
