So just had an interesting customer and its happened a few times now.
Just to say that I do my very best to stock as much as I can in Veggie Patch.
Yes google pofile or my FB pages do show a shop in the past absolutely rammed with lots of products.
To come to my shop stand outside and say its not what you thought to then just walk off without even going in to look makes me sad.
I sell Fruit, Veg, Salad anything else is a bonus at the moment.
Everyday brings another challenge for a business from finance, staffing, stock or with this extreme weather we are having.

I'm not looking for sympathy just a understanding on how hard it can be.
Support is key for any business but its getting to the point I feel like saying" If you can do better heres the keys"
Make me a offer, who knows it could be yours ?

Ran up to matket this morning and what a beautiful morning it was, a nice 17 degrees.

So I managed to buy a few different types of berries, which all look and smell delicious 😋

Cheddar Valley Strawberries 🍓 £2.80

So today is 2 years since my dad Graham pasted away suddenly.
When I was young dad would be working all the time providing for us, so I didnt have much time with him apart from family holidays.
When dad decide to work through Covid with me in the shop, I was honoured to have 4 1/2 years as father and son.
Yes we had our ding dongs most days but that would be forgotten over a cuppa.
I really got to know my dad in that time we had and he adored his grandchildren always wanting to take them out.
Since he has gone it has been tough and I have gone to some dark place due to stress and health now Im on my own missing him daily.
Few customers have said my dad's spirit is in the shop with me and I can definitely say he is.
Still keep losing my pens which dad would walk of with for his clip board.

So dad love you.
I will do my best to keep the shop alive, having you and James behind the counter with me xx

Due to this extreme weather I will be closing at 1.30pm today.
It isnt doing my stock any good on display, plus my chillers are struggling keeping stock cool.
Will be open tomorrow Friday at 9am.
