The Cowpe Valley Galloways coming down off the hill for their yearly bolus and worming before turning the bull out with them in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to seeing what the new stock bull ‘Cardona Hercules’ produces. He was bought for 6000gns this spring from the Castle Douglas Society Sale.

First show of the year and it was a warm one at Great Harwood Agricultural show ☀️ 🥵
Chuffed to be coming home with breed champion in the lonk classes and also the new trophy for best female in memory of Peggy Pickard.

The Gritstones did well to a 1st with a tup lamb and 2nd with a shearling gimmer.
