COFFEE NERDS… THIS ONE’S FOR YOU.

Yesterday we hosted our first Unit Vii coffee cupping session with Pete, our master of coffee. We tasted six coffees from three local roasters, including four single origins and our own house blend.

Before the tasting, Pete gave us a little coffee theory… where coffee comes from, how it’s processed, and how those choices shape what ends up in your cup. He showed us how to recognise different flavour profiles, including acidity and bitterness, then guided us through tasting each coffee like the professionals do.

Our group had all sorts of coffee experience, which made the conversation even better. Everyone left knowing a little more about what they like in a coffee… and why.

Huge thanks to Pete and everyone who joined us. We’re already looking forward to the next one.

Want to come along? DM us to register your interest. Or gather 6–8 of your coffee nerd friends and we’ll arrange a group session for you.

We had our local MP in the building… so obviously we had to put him on the spot.

Zarina sat down with Gagan Mohindra MP for a quick-fire chat about our local community, small businesses and a few things we genuinely wanted to ask.

No scripts. A little grilling. All over a coffee at the Unit.

Watch the reel and tell us… what would YOU have asked him?
