Urgent appeal to raise funds to fight to keep our green belt land! Please donate and spread the word!

🚨 OXHEY LANE FIELDS: THE PUBLIC INQUIRY STARTS ON 1 JULY 🚨

We are now at a crucial stage in the fight to save Oxhey Lane Fields.

The developer has lawyers, consultants, planners and expert witnesses.

Residents have one chance to make sure our community is properly heard at the Public Inquiry.

That is why we urgently need funds for legal representation and independent expert evidence.

This is not just about “a field”.

It is about:

🌳 Protecting our Green Belt
🌳 Defending the rural edge of Carpenders Park
🌳 Challenging whether this land is really “Grey Belt”
🌳 Showing the real impact on views, landscape and the Public Right of Way
🌳 Testing whether future planting can genuinely reduce the harm
🌳 Questioning whether the site is truly sustainable in real life

The Statements of Case show this fight matters.

There are serious issues that need to be tested properly and we need the funds to do that.

Please donate to help save our wonderful fields from development! It’s the only chance we have to fight back!

A new coalition of residents and local organisations is seeking funding to fight a planning application on Oxhey Lane.

The group is named Help Save Our Green Belt – SW Herts Coalition. It was formed in response to an application by Burlington Developments London to construct 256 properties

They plan to contract an expert planning barrister and independent expert witnesses. To support this, they have set a fundraising target of £75,000 and are asking residents to consider contributing.

Our milkman is just one of the many suppliers who operate on a loop system, also known as the "doughnut economy" 🍩
