Tranquil Somerset camping since 1968...
Before the downturn in rural agriculture, Splott was a busy Dairy farm, with up to 120 Friesian cattle for milking, later looking after young beef livestock too.
Over the years we’ve seen this country’s camping and caravanning habits through high and low, hot summers (and some, rather more moist too!)
There’s still a few beef animals on site but our traditional camping philosophy remans, it’s simple - ‘un-commercialised Somerset heaven’.
Many of our campers have been staying with us for over 50 years, across 3 generations with heaps of fantastic family holidays and special memories made.
