As the Bank Holiday Monday draws to a close, we’ve been busy behind the scenes cleaning, tidying, baking and making, ready to welcome you all back tomorrow! 🧁☕🌿

The gardens have had some TLC, the ovens are warming up, the fridges are filling, and the cake counter is getting ready for another week of treats.

From 10am–6pm tomorrow, we’ll have your favourites waiting for you:

We are officially off on our holibobs! ✈️🍹

After an absolutely incredible and very busy start to the year, it’s time for the A House of Cake team to recharge the batteries, gather some fresh inspiration and enjoy a little family time before the summer madness begins again 💖

Thank you all so much for your continued support, kindness, laughter and community spirit. Our little pink café would not be what it is without all of you.

Good morning lovely Wellington and beyond… 🌴☀️

Wow… what a year it has been already. It’s definitely been a bit of a rollercoaster at times, and honestly without the incredible community spirit and support from all of you, it would have been a lot harder to get through. 💖

We’ve now moved into our third year of being open here in Wellington, although A House of Cake itself has actually been creating celebration cakes since the late 80s! 🎂

The café, birthday parties, private classes and all the day to day madness have been phenomenally busy, and we are so grateful to every single person that walks through our doors, shares our posts, brings friends along, or simply stops for a coffee and a chat. You’ve helped create something really special here.

But… even cake people need a little recharge sometimes 🍹😅

So we are off on our holibobs to rest the batteries, gather some fresh inspiration and come back ready for another busy season with you all.
