Who's ready for the Star + Garter Beer Festival. Day 1 today and these guys sure know their beer - you may know their sister site Stormbird in Camberwell?

Their 2 day beer festival looks fantastic in the line up and they have invited all the breweries pouring to come give talks.

Miranda our founder and jack of all will be perched at the bar from 3pm tomorrow to talk all things Duration and share 5 delicious Duration beers with you including the last keg from our special reserves of Strataberry Fields a Strawberry Grisette and pours of our freshest release Extra Pale Ale Daisy Chains. Come on by for a scoop or two and to say hey!

A COUPLE OF CADS //

Join us tomorrow to launch a very special Pale Ale exclusively brewed just for them and at theirs is the only place you can enjoy it (pouring all summer).

In the beer world, you know you've made it when you've been asked to sign your name on the hallowed walls of the Rake Bar a small and perfect city pub in the heart of Borough Market (well round the back perfectly in yet away from the tourists on Wi******er Walk).

Utobeer has been on the scene longer than most modern breweries have existed and these guys know EVERYONE. From their wonderfully curated bottle shop in Borough Market to the pub with views of Southwark Cathedral - we love everything they do for brewers and the UK beer scene.

When GM Mona asked us to be one of 3 breweries making their birthday beers we were so so honoured to be asked and knew we had to put these two cads on the artwork.

We'll be pouring a merry medley of beers this weekend inlcuding a fine selection of cask - Summer Ale Jumpers For Goalposts anyone? The Rakes 4.5% Pale Ale will launching tomorrow and pouring all summer.

LONDON CALLING //

We’re heading to London later this week. On Thursday we are launching a very special exclusive beer with our dear friends - pouring all summer to commemorate their 20th year!!

Then on Friday we are exciting to be giving first London pours of Daisy Chains at Beer Festival where we’ll also have 4 cask beers on.

You may know a fave on the beer circuit (also featured on our Camberwell Pale Ale) well Star and Garter is run by the same folks and have curated 60 beers ciders and meads to try and have several brewers attending giving talks. Our own will be there to talk all things Norfolk and Duration with you all.

Meanwhile we’ll be cheering on Russel riding out from the brewery taproom at 3pm on Friday to embark on a 370km loop returning back to us on Sunday. He’s riding along the rebellion way and riding against cancer - come show him some support.

Shout out to all the Dad's this week. Be you Heavenly, In Waiting, Single and Co-Parenting or Most Trying to Improve we wanted to get in early to wish you a Happy Father's Day for Sunday.

To our own paterfamilias - Bates - founder and brewer thanks for steering us, guiding us and showing up for us - because in the words of Conway Twitty 'That's My Job'. To new Daddy Andy our product + production manager enjoying his first Father's Day this year we hope it's a good one.

After fixing some chiller issues last week we’re hopping on a few catch up brews before it’s new tank delivery day on Thursday.

We got two big shiny tanks inbound on Thursday for lashing more beer this summer.

Beer Festival Kitchen are joining us today and tomorrow with a great Hot Dog Menu plus Loaded Fries.

They are very silly in the best possible way and instead of shouting your order number they play your favourite song on a kazoo.
