AUGUST, you were great!
- had a day , learning all things fish and seafood 🐟
- cooked a lot; made my own granola and churned my own butter! 🧈
- got to look after two extra furry friends for a while 🐶🐶🐶
- got some cute new wheels 🚲
- moved to the Dorset coast and can’t quite get enough of looking out of my new kitchen window view over the coast 🌊

Slightly obsessed with lamb belly at the moment. Such an underrated cut of meat. The lamb was slow roasted with rosemary, mustard seeds, fennel seeds, garlic salt and chilli (slight tweak in a recipe), served with some caramelised fennel with whipped goats cheese & ricotta ( a tweak on an recipe) and a raw tomato sauce made with lovely fresh tomatoes, garlic and EVOO.

Had a first ever attempt at brioche this weekend. The result was a little darker than it should have been and the proving process took way longer than I thought it would, but otherwise quite happy with how this turned out? Good taste and texture!

The goal is to perfect this and then have a go at recreating the rye brioche I had at last weekend 😋😋
