Evening. Hope you're all well.

Went to Glasgow today for some spice shopping for our next batch of dishes to stock up. Took a trip to . Huge range of things from all over Asia. Defo worth a visit.

But the best thing we bought were the Pakistani Honey mangoes 🥭 💕 The king of fruits

I highly recommend you buy a box to try them out as a treat. Look for a green tinge and firm flesh so they can ripen at home and last a few days.

And then enjoy the golden sweetness

Just a quick to say I've added a window menu and information graphic to the shop window J&R Bell . It's been 7 years since we started up the business. Been a long and interesting journey.

Naan breads are available in 2 or 4 packs from the freezer

Wishing you all from myself, Kiran and family a great Eid day ahead. Sending prayers and love to everyone around the world x
A quick brief explanation on what happens during Eid Al adha. Families members contribute where possible to buy a cow, goat or sheep. They look after it at home if possible, then send the animals to the butchers with prayers and blessings to cut up in to small portions which are then distributed to local poorer and under privileged families. You keep what you need from your animal but the real reward comes from helping others in need. Kiran's family has been super busy this morning packing and handing out fresh meat parcels. Absolute stars. I'll show you guys later what we made with our portion of the animal.

Morning. Hope you're all well today.

Today again we as a family bought and packed close to 300 food packs to hand out to kids and adults less fortunate. It's another way of giving back some charity and to remain humble

Ive again asked permission from the family and Kiran, I've captured a wee bit. It's a 5 min video just showing wee bits behind the scenes.

Most of the finance comes from Kiran's 2 older brothers but Kiran also uses her income from sales to help with paying for the food.

Today we had made sweet halwa with almonds. A semolina dish which is sweet and power packed.

The second dish is haleem which is slow cooked chicken with a mix of deals (lentils) which is a mega healthy protein packed dish. These 2 together with a freshly made naan bread are packed and then handed out.

So when you amazing customers buy our dishes, you guys help us feed hundreds of kids and adults.

And for that, we are truly grateful and appreciate it 🙏
