🌾 That’s harvest done for another year! 🌾

After 2 tractor breakdowns, a combine breakdown, and plenty of long days, all the grain is finally safely in the shed! 🙌

Now there’s just the small matter of 1,110 bales to cart and get stacked in the sheds, ready to keep the cattle bedded down through the winter. 🐄

Harvest 2026 — you’ve tested us, but we got there! 💪🌾

Time to park the combines and tractors… until next year! 🚜

🐑🌾 A little helping hand from the farm…

The ongoing heat is taking its toll on the meadows, with the grass drying up and fresh grazing becoming harder to come by.

So, for now, the sheep are getting a helping hand with some barley grown on the farm. 🌾 We’re feeding it through the snack feeder to supplement what little grass is left and help keep the flock going through these dry conditions.

It’s especially important at this time of year to keep the ewes in good condition as we head towards tupping, so this extra feed is helping us maintain them through the dry conditions and get them where they need to be for the breeding season. 🐑💪

Hopefully the rain isn’t too far away! ☀️🌧️

Harvest 2026 is officially underway. 🌾

After a few early starts this week getting the beans harvested while conditions were just right, today we’ve moved onto the wheat.

Here's to long days, reliable machinery, good weather, and a safe harvest. 🚜❤️
