It's Pinot Noir day today and when else can we take the opportunity to show off our Miss Sheila's cider. A bottle conditioned cider co-fermented with heritage apples and Pinot Noir grape skins.

Our cheese boxes for two are available to book online for our Yorkshire Day event, based on our tour platters. Boxes contain four types of cheese, fruit, homemade cheese crackers, chorizo and salad, they make a very luscious picnic. If you have room follow with a boxed cream tea (also available to book). Picnics can be collected from 12pm. Availability is limited.

Our annual Yorkshire Day celebration is coming up on Sunday the 2nd of August. We hope you can join us once more to relax in the vineyard. The Bilsdale Silver Band and Gary the Sax are both returning and as with all our open days, there's no need to pay or book.

Whilst you are welcome to bring your own picnic, we will be offering a full bar alongside our famous scones and charcuterie boxes of cheese and nibbles. You can pre-order both of these online at ryedalevineyards.co.uk/shop

We are hopefully, fingers crossed, on target to have a fabulous, record breaking harvest this year. However, we are looking for some help stripping/removing leaves from around bunches in order to let the sun hit those grapes and allow air to circulate. If you are able to help, we will provide lunch, endless tea and coffee and a bottle of wine to take home, we will meet at the vineyard 10am Saturday 1st August. If you'd like to help and spend Yorkshire Day in a leafy vineyard, let us know.

We will be open on Bank Holiday Monday 12pm until 4pm, the outdoor bar will be open, the Stables log burner will be lit and we'll be serving masses of fresh baked cream teas. Come and try the new wines, free tastings, children and dogs on leads welcome, no booking necessary.
