Hello everyone! 👋

We’d like to officially introduce ourselves.

Since taking over from Jason and Nicky at Cricks Butchers in February, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to put our own modern twist on the shop. We still have lots of plans and adjustments to make, and we hope you’ll join us on this journey. We’re committed to investing back into the business and building for the future, with plans including a new in-store brochure, home deliveries with a refrigerated van, and a website with online shopping for all our products, from meats, sausages, bacon and burgers to cooked meats and a huge selection of cheese. There are more exciting developments to come, so watch this space. Thank you for being patient with us through the chaos, the queues out the door and the tills crashing.

The support, kind words, positive comments and feedback we’ve received over the past few months have been incredible, and we truly appreciate every single one of you for helping us to grow.

If you haven’t already, pop in and say hello – we’d love to meet you!

FYI, we’re new to posting on this social media page, and it’s all a learning curve for us, so please bear with us regarding updates on Hickman's Butchers shop progress and new products.

Well , what a day our last at Cricks of Wheatley, very emotional at times for all of the people who have regularly supported us we thank you from the bottom of our hearts Our wish now is that would you please welcome and support Phil on his new adventure the same way as you have supported us over the last 12 years Thank You 🙏

Cricks of WHEATLEY
It’s with a very heavy heart and great sadness that we are in the process of selling our shop
They say things happen for a reason and it seems that this was meant to be ,
We have had many ,many happy times ,but also some very hard and tough times ,
We have become friends with so many people, whom we will miss so much
We are very sad but feel deep down it’s the right decision
It’s been a tough few weeks for us and Justin to absorb this news ,
Unfortunately it’s pastures new for Nicky and Justin ,
This coming week will be our last ,
We would love to thank all of our staff past and present for making it such a great success and for all their hard work and commitment
You as customers have been absolutely fantastic ,our one wish is that you would continue to support this lovely little butcher’s shop
We are taking away with us some amazing memories,and we thank each and everyone of you for your outstanding support it’s you who has kept our little shop on the high street

We would love you all to welcome the new owner Philip Hickman
Phil will be working alongside Jason on Saturday 14th February
Phil is a skilled butcher ,with also a great understanding in catering and with a great vision, he’s young and very excited about his new venture we hope and trust you will support Phil while finding his feet ,
Fresh eyes and a real excitement for taking on the shop we hope it grows to become very successful with Phil’s knowledge and experience
Justin will finish on Friday 13th February
Nicky will finish on Thursday 12th February
Jason will finish on Saturday 14th February ( introducing Phil working beside him)

Phil will be possibly be around in the week with Jason showing him the ropes
Please pop in and have a chat with us before we hand over you all know how much Nicky likes to chat
On a serious note,from the bottom of our hearts please accept this as a personal thank you for all your wonderful support,it’s been a massive chunk of our lives
