We’re super busy with wedding flowers this week but will hopefully have the last of the peonies on the stand from Wednesday onwards!🤞🌸

Most of our weddings have been white themed so far this year, which doesn’t always lend itself to stand flowers. We always oversew for weddings at the detriment of space for bright stand flowers, but the polytunnel has been a sea of calm this year 🤍 We’ve loved these gorgeous snapdragons!

There’ll be lots of special bunches on offer on the stand at the weekend to celebrate British Flowers Week 🇬🇧💐 All weather dependant but this should include our first garden roses 🌹 If I manage to keep the rain showers off them to avoid petal spotting that is, eeeek! Always scary when there’s weddings to flower! Brollies at the ready ☔️

Our last peonies for the week were snapped up this morning so just jammies on the stand today!

How gorgeous was this last bunch 😍🌺

We do have the last of the peonies coming into colour for next week but it will completely depend on the weather; blooms in general hate thundery weather like we’ve had this last week and if we get warmer weather on top peonies can be very fickle! 🌦️🌸 We’ll do some great stand offers with our remaining stock!

We’ve got a bumper week of weddings ahead with our last DIY buckets being collected at the weekend, this should mean I finally have some gorgeous garden roses to go on the stand next weekend 🤞🌹

💐 I’ve had lots of enquiries about gift bouquets and orders over the last few weeks so just wanted to pop a quick message out!

👶 I’m gearing up for the arrival of mini blooms 2 later in Summer, so unfortunately, I’m not taking on any new work at present. This includes gift bouquets, funeral flowers or weddings for the rest of 2026 👰 Mainly as we farm on such a slope, it’s starting to become a bit tricky for me to get around the field! 🌸

We still have a few more weddings and events to flower before I head off for some time out for maternity leave (is there any such thing when you’re self employed?!) and hopefully the peony season is holding out well for a few more weeks 🤞🌺

Katie (my mum) will be continuing the flower stand for us over Summer. Despite reining back significantly on how many flowers we’ve sewn this year, we’ll still have lots for the stand - we can’t wait for dahlia season! 🌻 Here’s hoping there’s no wild fires on the moor this year and the road remains open! 🫣🔥

We’ll also be doing some end of term teacher jammies in July, but please do get your orders in as soon as possible!🫙🌼

Jammies £7.50 and mixed bunches including peonies £15 will be out from about lunchtime

Last week’s leftover peonies (I only managed to salvage 2 stems for myself, booo!) and some absolutely stunning giant poppies that were destined for the stand but I couldn’t help myself! 💕
