We’d like to say a HUGE thank you to the Thrumster Game and Countryside Fair committee for putting together another fantastic day and night! 👏❤️

And an equally huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the day despite the very changeable Caithness weather! 🌦️😂 Your support and enthusiasm are what make events like this so special.

We’re especially delighted to have FINALLY taken home the win in both the Men’s AND Women’s Tug of War this year! 💪🏆 Win or lose the tug is always the highlight of our day….but safe to say, we’re just a wee bit chuffed 😂 And a massive thank you to everyone who pulled for Team Puldagon — quite literally! 😂💪

A brilliant day, a brilliant atmosphere and plenty of laughs along the way. It’s fantastic to see the community coming together and supporting a great local event year after year.

Well done to everyone involved in organising it — we know how much work goes on behind the scenes to make these days happen.

Same again next year… although we’ll be holding onto those Tug of War titles! 😉💪🏆

We will be CLOSED this Saturday 15th August 2026 for the Thrumster Game Fair! Join us there for a fantastic family day out…we’ll have the food truck, tea tent and bar right next to the main ring!
