Morning Rolls when we have our grand daughter visiting we make 9 rolls and use the spare dough for pizza base, dough balls or cinnamon rolls x

Really easy to make apple sponge, can be made as a tray bake, I was in a rush so used a pie dish, freezes really well. You can susstitute some of the flour with ground almonds or custard powder. You could add Vanilla or Almond essence. Great for using up old apples. I put a little bit of the sponge mix in the base, spread it out and bake for 5 mins, this acts like a layer of pastry layer.

150g light brown soft sugar
120g golden syrup
1 handful sultanas (optional)
