March is brain tumour awareness month and we sadly lost a dear friend to this awful disease in December 2025. During the month of March we have decided to do some afternoon tea boxes with all profits going to brain cancer research in memory of (check out his story and his beautiful partner)..if you are interested then please contact us (minimum 2). Residents in Wigan are encouraged to be vigilant after reports of incidents across the district.

Fraudsters posing as police officers are calling locals and stating they are calling regarding suspicious transactions on the individuals bank account. The calls originate from a No Caller ID, and are asking people to dial 999/101 to verify the transactions, but don’t put the phone down.

They have managed to fraudulently get £9,226 cash from one victim, the others have failed.

During the week commencing 9th November I shall be making some afternoon tea boxes for 2 people at a cost of £30 with a donation going to the Poppy appeal to commemorate the 80yrs since DDay. Who's got my six?
I'm going to make a bet, without being pessimistic, that out of my hundreds of friends, that less than 25 will take the time to put this on their wall. You just have to copy it from my wall and paste it to yours. Then type done on my wall. I've done this for a friend to spread Awareness of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. We lose 22 Veterans a day to PTSD. More needs to be done to help Veterans in need. We need to put those that protect us FIRST.
