For just £50, one member of your group can enjoy a truly unique behind-the-scenes experience with our Highland cows.

Your VIP experience includes:
🚜 A guided ride in our Polaris vehicle with either the farm owner or farm manager.
🐮 The opportunity to safely enter the field with our Highland cows under close supervision.
❤️ Meet some of our shyer cows that most visitors don’t usually get the chance to spend time with.
🪮 Brush, feed and interact with the cows on a much more personal level.
📸 Capture those incredible up-close photographs standing alongside these gentle giants.
🌿 Learn about the individual personalities of our cows and gain a unique insight into life on the farm during your private one-to-one guided experience.

We’re looking for a small number of traditional fairground rides to join us at Highland Cow Cottage this December 🎠✨

We’re creating a proper festive farm day out, with animals, Christmas stalls, food, gifts, lights and that old-school fairground magic.

We’re expecting this event to be very busy, so we’d love to hear from family-friendly ride operators, especially traditional or vintage-style rides that would suit a Christmas market setting.

POV: the most wholesome afternoon ever!

From meeting our fluffy Highland coos, feeding and brushing them, learning all about the herd... to finishing with afternoon tea and a little browse in the shop.

Honestly the perfect countryside day out for all ages.

All our moos had their vet check yesterday and we’re buzzing to say… everyone passed with flying colours 🤍🐮

“Most” of the coos were calm, unbothered, easy to deal with… we all know who put up a fight… ✨Elizabeth & Sofia ✨

Us on the other hand… sweating from chasing the moos and questioning our life choices at that precise moment in time 😭😅

Getting them through the crush was… an experience to say the least 🫠 but SO much easier than before now we have a 10/10 set up!!
Pretty sure the moo moos enjoyed the chaos more than we did

Drop a 🐮 if you think we deserve a nap after that 😂

We’ve been on Channel 4… countless times on the radio
and now this.

All from starting with a couple of cows.

It’s been a mix of long days, a bit of chaos, a lot of poo. Kelly laughing at Karl when he's really hurt himself doing something he is confident he can do (but secretly trying to wing it)

Karl telling his dad (Leon) to stick to the facts…
and quietly hoping no one checks ChatGPT or google afterwards 😂

Seeing people come, bring their families, make lasting memories, lots of smiles, encourage people to love and support British Farming, that’s always been the whole point.

Meanwhile the cows? Just laid down, front row seats, watching Karl smash his personal best lap times like it’s Mario Kart 🎮🐮💩

Who knew mucking out could feel like a full-on competition?!

Making the least glamorous job on the farm… somehow the MOST satisfying 🙌
