✦ Out in beautiful Whitchurch Canicorum we removed old soapstone tops and fitted new Colonial White 30mm granite ✦ Supplied by we fabricated and fitted a Belfast sink cut out with draining grooves and butted up the stone to meet the existing solid wood peninsular ✦ The granite literally topped off a proper lovely kitchen! ✦

✦ Supplied by and working with we have created a beautiful bath surround for the first of many bathrooms in a stunning property in Exeter ✦

✦ Fabricated within one piece made it difficult to handle but it fitted perfectly, and with a stylish Ogee profile edge we are really pleased with the result ✦

✧ Stone Restoration ✧ It’s been a busy week of cleaning, polishing and sealing stone floors across Devon ✧ An important job to keep floors looking fabulous and make sure they’re future proofed for years to come ✧

✧ A limestone floor in Sidmouth was covered in years of dirt built up and wax which made it dull, and hard to keep clean ✧ We brushed the floor and deep cleaned with soap to remove the wax, steam cleaned to remove all impurities beneath then sealed and polished to finish ✧ This reset will allow for future easy cleaning by the customer and an annual visit by us to keep everything in check ✧

✧ Top Tip : Never put any enhancers or coatings on natural floors! ✧

✧ Let us restore your floor to its original nature and organic best! ✧

It was an absolute pleasure to help Lasse out with his recent project ✧ Check out Boat Building Academy for courses and give us a shout for offcuts ✧ It’s amazing what a small piece of left over material can be turned into!

Lasse is one of our recent graduates from the January 2026 12-week furniture-making course.

He began the course planning to make a standing desk, but his idea evolved into a beautifully crafted sideboard coffee station. Made from oak, with a beech ply shelf and topped with striking Verde Guatemala green marble, kindly donated by Granite That Works , the finished piece is both practical and full of character.

Lasse was delighted to take it home at the end of the course — and we hope it’s already being put to good use brewing plenty of coffee.
