3 new long term offers starting this week on our nutrition section.

Protein shakes now 2 for £5.50
Body fuel water now 2 for £3
Canned water / ABE can now 2 for £3.50.

Also should have another fridge coming to make sure they are cold and ready to drink

Hi All,

Back from holiday now after a 2 week break, and back to business.

September see’s us lose around 8 staff to uni, college etc.

So we will have some vacancies come up in next couple of weeks.

These are already posted on Indeed under
‘Welcome Co-op Wixams’

All roles are varied hours/days

Open to over 18’s only currently due to age restricted sales.

Shifts will include tills, stock/delivery, date checking and cleaning.

Get those bbq’s cleaned and ready for storage until next year.Was £2.99Now just 74p

Morning All,

Just a quick supply update, with the ongoing heat some suppliers are still struggling to deliver etc.

Tooth Frutti - can’t / won’t deliver chocolate or yoghurt covered products

Co-op Medicine - can’t / won’t deliver any medicine but we are using a different supplier so should have a good supply

Eden Farms - struggling to keep up with demands on deliveries so delays with our GSN meals and Ice

Co-op - running about 50% on frozen (but we are sourcing ice cubes from other places)

Water continues to be a challenge but we are ordering as much as we can get in to try and keep shelfs available

Co-op have restricted sparkling water in order to push efforts towards still water.

Overall we are fine, but gaps in places across the store but to issues above, we are working with who we can, where we can to keep products on sales

Unfortunately it seems to be a slowly more reoccurring theme that bikes, scooters etc being left outside the shop are being taken while owners are shopping.

Happened today, we do have space inside the store at the windows to keep a few bikes while youngsters shop, we’ve also spoken to groups about not all coming in at once and 1/2 staying outside with the bikes etc while others shop and swap.

It’s a sad thing to keep happening but some of these items cost a good amount of ££ and can be gone within seconds.

With a summer of good weather, school holidays etc it’s definitely worth just having the convo with your kiddies about the situation and what to do to stop it happening,

Our team will always be there to assist if young ones are concerned or worried, they just need to ask.

Less than a week in, 1 bike taken, 1 scooter left behind and first aid given to young lad who left off his bike outside and cut his leg.
