All the crops on the farm have benefitted from the recent rain and are growing well. It would be great to have some sunshine again now (with some showers) but we’ll just have to see what June brings.

In the pictures you can see that the sunflowers have really pushed on and you can just make out where our wildflower patch will be. 🌸

The pumpkins are also growing well under their protective starch (biodegradable) film that acts like a mini green house.

The sunflowers are flying after this bit of rain, and with a warm sunny forecast for the weekend they should be ready for hoeing next week.

Dave drilled a small area of wildflowers in the sunflower field yesterday so looking forward to seeing how that develops.

And pumpkins are being drilled today too.

The sunflowers are emerging nicely but we could really use some rain. We have some wildflowers to plant this year in the sunflower field too so it should all look fantastic for you this July/August. Have a great weekend!

Today we’re planting our sunflowers for you to come and enjoy this July-August. We’ll be planting the pumpkins in a few weeks but we also have some wildflowers going in this year too! We can’t wait to welcome you all very soon 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
