We are third generation bakers who have been established in a 300 year old (approximately!) craft bakery at Winchcombe for 40 years. Norths Bakery produce products from only the best ingredients, made by qualifed craftsman. Our range of traditional White Bread, Stonegroud Wholemeal and Cobber Bread are all made withou

t any additives or preservatives. With speciality breads ranging from Walnut and Raisin to Sour Dough, choosing the correct flavoured loaf for the right occasion can be complicated, so help and advice is always at hand. However, we don’t just bake bread! We sell a large range of products from homemade and retail confectionery, including our own chocolate range, to wedding cakes, pastries and seasonal homeade cakes all year round. Just pop in to one of our bakeries to sample the great offerings for yourself! Thankfully our wholesale is not delivered on the bicycle anymore, however we still have the same committment to quality and reliability. Our customer base ranges from:

Bakers Assistant – Early Morning Shift

A family-owned bakery in Winchcombe is looking for a reliable Bakers Assistant to join our team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00am–7:00am
Location: Winchcombe
Pay: Good rate of pay

Duties include:

* Finishing Danish pastries and other morning goods
* Picking and packaging wholesale orders
* Loading products into shop display counters
* Packaging rolls
* Cleaning and maintaining the work area

The ideal candidate will:

* Have a keen eye for quality
* Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Have good food hygiene standards
* Be able to work well as part of a team
* Have some bakery or catering experience (preferred)
* Have their own transport

5 nights per week
11:00pm – 6:00am Sunday night to Friday morning, with overtime available

You must:

Be qualified and experienced in bread and roll moulding and baking
Have experience making Danish pastries and morning goods
Have your own transport
Be reliable, organised and hardworking
Be able to work well as part of a team
Have an excellent standard of food hygiene
