What biscuits do you enjoy the most?

I will have to say the racing silks. I have said it before, but I will say it again. When Stephanie Richards found the cutter, I said that a £7 cutter was expensive. Where this sole cutter has taken me is beyond my wildest dreams. From Windsor Castle to Cheltenham with a trip to Newmarket and Aintree as well. I love following the racing, especially National Hunt racing, so I love making colours I recognise from horses running; one day I might have a share in one! It has been an absolute privilege to send these biscuits to such a variety of different postcodes around the country and I hope I will be able to continue to widen the range of colours I have made!

Well September brings lots of new things, a new school year, fresh starts. And I thought it was the perfect opportunity to reintroduce myself!

I’m Camilla! I started Camilla’s Kitchen a few years ago, specialising in iced biscuits. I can post biscuits all over the country and have been incredibly lucky to see biscuits go to some very special addresses over the years. I love a challenge! I often say two things… The only limit is your imagination and that I can ice better than I can draw! So you give me an idea and I will see what I can do.

So come along for the ride! I’ve got some exciting plans in the pipeline for the rest of this year which I can’t wait to share!

Each year, I run the Exmoor Pony Society Breed Show on the hills of Exmoor! I also sponsor a championship, which this year was the Supreme Ridden Championship! This was won this year by Richards Native Ponies and Dunkery Hornbill!
Don’t worry, biscuits will return soon but I am finally having a couple of weeks of down time before going back to work!

Global Running Day…

I have fallen in love with running. Through it, I have met friends for life, completed 3 marathons, created memories which will last a lifetime… And there is still so much more to come! Happy Global Running Day! I’m off for a run to celebrate.

has been an inspiration to me for many years, have done a couple of their icing classes along the way… But their gingerbread dollhouse is something else. The detail everywhere you look, the skill, you get an opportunity to go and see it; it’s on the ground floor of Fortnums and is just incredible!
