What a weekend at Great Eccleston Show!

A huge thank you to everyone who came to see us over the show weekend. It was fantastic to meet so many people, catch up with familiar faces, and introduce Moore & Co to plenty of new ones.

As farmers and butchers, we were proud to share our story – from rearing our livestock on the farm to preparing it in our shop in Windermere. It was great to talk to so many people about what farm to fork really means.

The free samples went down an absolute storm! A big well done to Dennis and Percy, who helped handing them out with big smiles and keeping everyone well fed. They were a real credit to the family and loved meeting so many of you.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, sampled our produce, and supported us. We hope to see plenty of you in the shop soon.

We can’t quite believe it’s been a whole year since we opened our doors in Windermere. We’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our customers for your incredible support over the last 12 months. You’ve made us feel so welcome, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

We’ll be at Great Eccleston Show this Sunday!

This Sunday 19th July, Richard and Jonny will be giving a live butchery demonstration from 11:15am until 12:30pm, showcasing our farm-to-fork business and the quality produce we’re proud to rear and prepare.

It’s a great chance to see traditional butchery skills up close, learn more about where your food comes from, and ask any questions about what we do.

If you’re heading to the show, we’d love to see some familiar faces. Come along and show your support!

Good morning from Moore & Co.

With Alan enjoying a well-earned holiday this week, Richard has swapped the farm for the shop and is lending a hand to Jonny behind the counter.

Richard has put together a quick video showing some of what’s available this week. From steaks and roasting joints to homemade sausages, pies, bacon and all the usual favourites, the counter is looking full.
